You know, this camera and lens continue to impress me. I can't see how I could expect better results even if the RP had IBIS. You R-5 and R-6 owners out there, is it dramatically better stabilization with IBIS and lens IS combined?

Where does one see the benefit of IBIS, other than the obvious example of non-IS lenses?

This was shot in a dark room. The bookcase was in shadow, no detail could be seen on the books from where I was sitting. From the EVF display it looked like I was in a bright room. M mode, set ISO 3200, set the camera to 1 second, f7.1, which for this lens is "wide open."

Because the exposure was "correct" (at least according to the exposure scale in the EVF,) grain at ISO 3200 is well controlled. Reminds me of ISO 800 in my old EOS 10D.
