I wanted to open a discussion about the attention span of audiences, to which we would like to show either our photos or videos. The modern viewer, used to television commercials, has an attention span of maybe 30 seconds. In speeches, there used to be books that talked about "getting your point across in 3 minutes or less, or lose your audience," and back when people presented their color slide shows to family, the warning was not to exceed 15 minutes. I wonder what the latest thinking is on visual presentations of photos...

(Here is the result of a camera at a party that was taking one shot every minute automatically. One look at the body language of the audience, watching a short video of photos, is "lesson learned." p.s. there is another camera on top of the stairs.)
