For operating near or at the technical limits of m4/3, one tends to have more expensive larger lenses and often, serious intent.

‘Bodies like the G9 and 1X were created to satisfy users engaged as above, but you can see small lenses on a G9/1X, or sometimes a f/1.2 lens on a small, lower tier m4/3 body.

I felt it made sense to own two bodies, as long as I had a decent mix of both types of lenses.
