Is this Minolta lens fake?

Time to call it a day ?

The problem with this thread is the words used and the context they are used in .


The title of the thread uses the word "fake" meaning counterfeit .

Fake has no other meaning .

The answer to that is , no , it's a genuine lens .

The word copy should have been used , but can also confuse .

I have several lenses that are the same version .

Therefore I have "several copies" of the same lens . All genuine .

Copy can also mean counterfeit , but the context of the OP would make it clear which meaning is intended .

It was certainly cleared up in the first few replies several months ago , and the seller has since resold the lens stating current condition and no longer cares !

This is turning into a long winded debate on the use of two words !
