Peter Iredale Shipwreck
1

About two weeks ago, I visited the Peter Iredale shipwreck. It happened over a hundred years ago, but some remnants of it still exist. The ship could have been salvaged at the time, but it became wedged in some sand. So over the years the ship was destroyed by the elements. See the internet for more details.

Photo No. 1 - I had been here before a long time ago, when there was not a lot of people.

Photo No. 2 - But that day, these youngsters enjoyed climbing it.

Photo No. 3 - And running around it....

Photo No. 4 - Sometimes the water would rush in.

Photo No. 5 - So, as they explored this old ship they had to keep an open eye for the waves.

Photo No. 6 - Oh, it was time to run.

Photo No. 7 - The wave was getting close.

Photo No. 8 - Some still managed to get wet.

Photo No. 9 - Or they could wait for the waves.

Photo No. 10 - And here's the last one, showing someone with a mask.
