Is the Firmware Update 1.x for R5 coming soon? What are welcomed featrues?

In generell, does anybody have an idea, when the upcoming firmware update is coming?

Aside from several features like more film modes, pictures styles and maybe even more flexability in regards to overheating, I would welcome the following minor updates:

  • Higher exposure duration for electronic shutter
  • Higher DR for +0.5 second exposure for the electronic shutter (even in high speed shutter mode) vom 12 to 14 stops of DR
  • Improved internal interval timer (no random cooldown time after each shot)
  • Image preview after each shot during (similar to focus bracketing)
    • interval timer
    • AEB
  • Fine Focus Feature (already possible through the app or EOS Utility)
    • via Touch Display
    • via Dial
    • via Buttons
  • A Night Mode setting, like the one in the Canon EOS M6 (darkens all UI elements from white to brown), which the option of automatic switch off after 6 am for example
  • File Transfer Feature, which copies all file from one Memory Card to the other
  • AEB improvements
    • easy toggle through every exposure within the bracket as a preview feature (atleast 1. most underexposed, 2. normal and 3. most overexposed image)
    • possibility of select the exposure preview while half pressing the shutter button (currently it's fixed to the first exposure during the AEB.
  • Security Features (Tony Northups
    • Pin Code after a longer period of inactivity / shut down and after every battery swap
    • Smart Unlock, while authorised bluetooth device is present
    • (future R Models: Fingerprint sensor in the handle)
  • Settings Warnings, which will display unwanted settings in red / flashing like
    • ISO above or below a certain threshold
    • Aperture
    • Shutter speeds (different speed for different focal lenths)
    • settings like One Shot AF
    • Possibility to temporarily disable those feature till the next switch off
  • Permanent or toggable Depth of Field Preview
  • Focus peaking during zoom
  • Ability to zoom during Face AF while switch to MF (this appearing warning, doesn't make any sence during MF)

I think all of those feature can be implemented as of now and there shouldn't be any restriction to them. I would even lend them a hand in programming and implementing those features, if they would allow it.
