Just wondering if there is anybody out there who uses multiple bodies to avoid lens changes, since they are so small.

I am looking into this right now vs. a 1-superzoom lens option for better IQ, despite the bulk.

Right now I have packed for testing because they are my best performing lenses (apart from primes and L):

  • M6 and EF-M 18-150mm IS STM
  • M3 and EF-S 55-250mm IS STM
  • plus EF-M 11-22mm IS STM

No more room for a 50mm.

I can and I do at times. I have a M5 full spectrum and an M6 II color. So at times when I don't want to switch and I don't mind looking like a camera nerd, i'll put one lens on the M5 with a IV/UR cut filter and another lens on the M6 II and both can shoot color.

most times though, I take both cameras and use them independantly one to shoot color the other to shoot infrared or chrome.
