I have a Canon L39 (screw) mount 50mm f/1.2 rangefinder lens (and camera). Does anyone know if this can be adapted to a Canon R mirrorless camera -- e.g., the Canon RP -- and, if so, where to get the adapter? I don't have the RF mount camera at this point.

Thanks.

Yes, your L39 screw mount lens can be adapted to a Canon R mirrorless camera with the proper adapter (or combination of adapters).  In descending order of price, Novoflex, Kipon and. Fotasy all make L39 to RF mount adapters (look on B&H for the first two and Amazon for Fotasy).  In addition, a couple of adapters can be combined together if that gives you the more economical way to use an adapter for other lenses too (for example, an L39 to Leica M adapter plus a Leica M to RF adapter - in case, for example, you also have M mount lenses you'd also like to use on the Canon R body).
