I've been shooting with an X-T4 now for a few months and am finding that it is a magnet for sensor dust. I'm extremely careful about changing lenses, i.e., keeping the body face down, not changing in the wind or obvious sources of dust, etc. But this sensor seems to attract dust like no other camera I've ever owned. I've shot with Canon, Olympus and have an X-H1. None of those cameras have the problem. IBIS static build-up? Anyone else have this problem?
In my experience it's about once incident where a bunch of dust gets in. Once this happens you can clean and clean and you still get dust on the sensor. I own two X-T3 and one has needed regular cleanings, about every month or two. The other which is a six months old has never needed a cleaning. Blow the camera out good. Operate the shutter with no lens and the setting for take photo for no lens enabled. Do this with the camera facing down a few times. Blow it out again. Repeat. Also, do you have clean sensor when turning on and also turning off enabled?
It will get better in time,
