I had the exact same choice and eventually got the X70 due its size and wideangle lens, that i got along for free, really fits my ideal of taking photos with the closeup 21mm equivalent and the double tilting screen

Also i have the voightlander 28mm viewfinder, which is extremely bright and clear, making this an amazing retro camera, i really dont need the absolute most pixels or pixelpeeping sharpness, what matters is trustworthness and ease of use

My X70 is perfectly sharp at 100% and nails normal focus all the time, only tricky to focus close, where i focus on my hand before letting the autofocus find the flower/insect etc

Love its near silent shutter and the ability to let it stand on the tilting screen for long exposures or hd movies which is fine for family events

Before this i had the Panasonic GX7 and LX100, yet the fuji colours always felt better and more natural, and the LX100 got killed by dust (as many have experienced with that model) - i always wanted to have the camera in a jacket, so has to be small and solid

I would have loved the Nikon DL18-50, which they cancelled, and i miss having weather resistance, so the X100V would be the only alternative, yet costs 5 times more
