I have used the XF35 f2 with both X-T3 and X-T30.For sure it's a nice lens, it's sharp and the AF is quick.

Everybody seems so in love with this lens, and I can't just undestand why I don't seem to like it. Maybe it's the focal lenght that is not good for me? I use the 23 and 27 with much more enthusiasm, and I never felt like selling them.

I can't decide if I should sell it or not...

Maybe try shooting a FASTER 35? The 1.4 or Mitakon .095... might give more meaning to the lens.

I tried the 35mm 1.4 and I like it a bit more, but anyway I'm always tending to shoot with 18mm/23mm.

I think I'm more of a wideangle shooter with some incursion of telephoto (56mm). I have used 35mm eqv in Film Cameras, I started shooting with the classic reflex 50mm 1.7, I liked it of course, but at the time I did not have a lot of experience and had no basis for comparison.

Yeah I totally get It. I used to be anti 50mm and would roll with 35/85 for years.
I didn’t like always changing lenses so often keep the 50mm equiv on as I shoot more people, photos of my wife, and friends when walking around.

I know some people like 35mm equiv for people but I definitely don’t, at least if I want to flatter them, it’s ok for randos on the street though.
