If you don't like the focal lenght and if you don't want to learn how to use it, then just sell the lens. It's not a problem not to like some good gear, it is just not the right thing for you.

Focal lenghts are a very personal thing and preferences can change throughout time. When I started photography with an Olympus camera, I bought a 50mm equivalent because I was reading everywhere it is THE prime everybody needs. I never caught with it. Then I tried a 35mm equivalent and sold everything for an X100. Now I use 50mm equivalent a lot and I find it quite interesting.

I have a bit the same problem with the Fujinon 50mm f/2. The lens itself is brilliant but I don't like the focal lenght, I would prefer real 85mm equivalent. Hovewer I use it quite often because it's small, light and weather sealed. I much prefer my 90mm f/2 as a telephoto but size wise it's night and day.
