I replied to your categoric statement that blowing doesn't work. I've been using the blow approach on my sensors for 15 years and have found it very successful. I don't even resort to clean room environments or bags. Just point the sensor down and a few quick puffs with a rocket blower. I don't have a dust problem.


My own experience has been that a blower works fine.  I've never used a vacuum, but I'm sure it does a good job.  I'll always try a couple of in camera cleaning cycles first and then, if that doesn’t work, the blower with the camera always pointing down.

Been doing this a long time, and have not yet experienced any issues at all.
