I have a Sony a7iii and was wondering if there are any rumors of lenses which will fit this camera? I believe the only two are the Sony 200-600mm f/5.6 and the Sony prime f/4, which is about $13k. I thought that Tamron or Sigma might have a 600mm available by now.

-Thanks

I haven't seen anything even rumored since last March. The only rumor lens wise that I saw for a wildlife zoom was a Tamron 200-400 f4. That was 8 months ago? But nothing recently. It would be nice if Tamron or Sigma offered up a 600mm or 800mm prime like Canon did, except not f11!!!

I gave up waiting for any 3rd party options and just bought the Sony 100-400. If I need longer I'll rent. Speaking of...I did rent the 200-600 and it was just too heavy for me. Nice lens but the weight was a bit too much. The 100-400 is so much easier to carry and hand hold.
