Hi All,
Need help to choose a bridge camera. I have been a Canon user for so many years and for the last 5 yrs using sx50. I do a lot of Bird Photography and since my sx50 has started showing signs of ages want to upgrade it to the next camera (Bridge).
Currently, I am getting 50% off on SX60 so want to know is it worth upgrading to sx60 from sx50? I am looking for a camera with better image quality than my sx50?
P.S. I am not considering sx70 since it is very expensive.
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Nandan
Went from SX50 to 60 to70 for upgrade. Sent the 60 back after a 2 week trial and sold the 70. The 70 was infact a big ergonomic upgrade but the IQ just wasn't there on my copy. Some have had great success with the 60/70 but the extra long zoom did it in for me. Always said if only Canon kept the 50 lens on the 70 they would have had a winner.
With the price at 50% off for the 60 and for your needs I believe it is worth a shot. It just didn't cut it for me. I still use the SX50 on occasion. Went for the M50. Hate the lens swapping but that's the only real complaint.
