Well with the rumored M50 Mark II on the horizon, I’m going to have to decide which body to designate as my full-time macro shooter. With a fully articulating LCD the M50ii would be the natural choice IMO. But if the AF outperforms the M6ii’s, then I may want to assign it to general duties instead. Egad, I wasn’t expecting this quandary (but it’s a good one to be in).

You can always sell the M6mkII and get 2x M50mkII.

No way! I love the M6ii’s compact form-factor and the (ultra-fast) tilting LCD waaay too much for general shooting. The flippy LCD of the M50ii will come in handy when shooting macros though. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever use the M50ii’s EVF.

Gotta remember, I’ve already “evolved” into an LCD-only shooter.

AF on the M50ii should be better than M6ii but lack of dials is not a deal breaker for you? M6iis AF is pretty good already, it's basically point & shoot!

Also I believe if you have a decent built in evf you WILL end up using it...I think the reason for being LCD shooter is that the removable evf is a pain lol. LCDs do come in handy for certain situations though of course.
