So I currently have the 70-200mm which i hardly use much and hardly ever at 2.8. So was wondering if anyone had experience with both lenses and how big a difference there as at say F/8 for landscape work?

And if it is a good idea to trade the 70-200mm to buy the 70-300mm and money towards another lens?

And how well the AF-P works on the FTZ adapter on a Z6

Hi arronkick,

I'm in similar situation as you. I have a 70-200 f2.8 (Sigma Sport version 1.8kg) wich is too heavy for my landscape trips.

I was looking for a solution, I have done a thread about it but I'm not decided yet.

The AFP is very tenting (Price, weight and size) but the native Nikkor 24-200 is an very compact option too. What do you think about it ?

Z6 + 24-200 = ~1kg2 // Z6+ 70-300 = ~2kg

I like the idea of the native 24-200mm but dont like overlapping focal length and i love the 24-70mm f4
