Is AF-C tracking overrated in the newer bodies from Sony?

As I do not want to start any war as far as available tracking systems, but during watching this video it occurred to me that this guy might be right (a bit)

Why? Because BIF and sports/action photography have many common aspects in terms of AF-C tracking, and I must say, that from my experience with A6600 I might support such bold statement, that tracking fast moving subject has specific quirks. I just can't find it helpful vs just fast AF-C.

Moreover I am still on the fence between A7RIII and A7RIV and Canon R6 for my type of photography (sports/action in general).
