Will Fuji be first (other than Nikon) with a diffractive 500mm???

Well at least Fuji has one patented eh. But surely Canon (especially for their new R mount cameras) has noticed that people lined up forever to receive the Nikkor 500mm PF. I was one of the first recipients of the 500PF in the country...loved the lens but couldn't stand going back to a DSLR (D500) after enjoying mirrorless so long.

I'm waiting on an R5 but truly would prefer a Fuji 500 DOE.

I feel Sony has no interest at all in diffractive lenses But maybe Sony will trick me.

So who will be first? Fuji. Sony. Canon?
