I've been holding off for sigma to release a 70-200 f2.8 for the Sony emount cameras but I recently noticed that they had released a 100-400 f5.6 / 6.3...

My question is.... Would it be worth waiting sigma to release a 70-200 f2.8? Or is the sigma 100-400 f5.6/6.3 just as good a lens?

I saw a few videos on YouTube saying the 100-400 isn't really a lens for indoors

I have owned both 70-200/2.8 and 100-400, Canon in the past and Sony now.   They are for different purposes and don't substitute each other.  Personally I use 100-400 more but 70-200/2.8 has its purpose in indoor, low light, 70mm AOV, portrait, event etc.
