I've been holding off for sigma to release a 70-200 f2.8 for the Sony emount cameras but I recently noticed that they had released a 100-400 f5.6 / 6.3...

My question is.... Would it be worth waiting sigma to release a 70-200 f2.8? Or is the sigma 100-400 f5.6/6.3 just as good a lens?

I saw a few videos on YouTube saying the 100-400 isn't really a lens for indoors

These two lenses have very different missions. I would use a 70-200/2.8 for portrature, indoor sports and other low-light events. I would use a 100-400 for daylight wildlife/zoo and landscape.
