I've noticed something. I've searched on Flickr and 500px and looked at lots of landscape pictures taken with

EOS R, a7RIII, 5D MkIII and 5D MkIV

The ones taken with DSLRs seem better somehow, creamier as well as sharper and just bigger impact with a dreamy feel. Compared to the mirrorless ones. I don't know why this is or if I'm imagining it.

Perhaps the DSLRs attract more professional photographers that have been doing it for longer. I don't understand what I'm seeing or why and it's bugging me.

That's nice.  I never brought mirrorless into the equation at all.    Earlier you asked me to tell you what I used for my Glacier Bay pictures.

If you note in my response two were taken with DSLRs which were roughly 24MP cameras.  The third was mirrorless, a Nikon Coolpix 1/1.7 10MP.

I am now shooting with Nikon Z6 and Z7 cameras.  Travel is pretty limited due to COVID so not exotic locations.  Here are a couple from a weed patch in the neighborhood.

I guess they are too crisp to be dreamy.

I'm pretty sure I could take the same photos with any of the cameras named in your post.
