The autumn songbird migration is a hit and miss in SW Ontario this year. We used to have much more active years. I am out and about as much as I can squeeze into my schedule but the returns are somewhat low. Included are a few songbird images that I managed to capture in the past few weeks.

A second of pause on the "right side" of the cedar......... Warblers tend to be mostly on the "other side"......

Cute little birdie, strong crop.

Palm Warblers used to come in much greater flocks this time of the year.

This Swainson's Thrush was foraging deep in the shrubs before it showed itself in the open for a couple of shots.
