EF to EOS RF Adapter with Control Ring arrived.

Got lucky last week and found an EF to EOS RF adapter with Control ring available on Amazon. I had been wanting to try one. It arrived today so starting to think about different ways to configure it.  I already own the standard dumb adapter which I use with my EF glass but also had a few native RF lenses with a built in control ring so I had tried it on those. What I found was that this adapter with the EF glass puts the control ring at a better position for me at the lens end closer to the lens mount like an aperture ring on a a lens would be.

I am using this on my EF 85 f/1.4L IS to start that I got for my EOS R and its working out great. Feels very natural there. Yes its expensive but since I can use it on all my EF glass I thought I would splurge. I have it set up to control f/stop so it gives me an aperture ring.

If you have one what are using it to control? Does it save you any step or time? I admit with the native lenses I didn't like it as much at the end away from the body but this is nice. Share your thoughts if you have time. Take care.
