A few shore birds from the local marsh

Hi to all,

There was a good week long window in a local wetland/marsh when shore birds settled down to feed on their way south. I was out there a few times to capture them under different lighting conditions.

Best to all, AIK

A Greater Yellowleg, working the shallows on an overcast day.

A Stilt Sandpiper doing its "one legged tricks".......

A Solitary Sandpiper was feeding on a flooded corn field beside the marsh.

Solitary Reflection

A Least Sandpiper doing a "power walk"......  It is funny to watts these little sandpipers, they are always walking fast with their heads tiled towards the ground as they forage at the edge of the water.

What is on the menu? I liked how these two Least Sandpipers posed for a split second, as if they would discuss the daily menu.
