Electronic Shutter vs. E-First Shutter vs. Mech Shutter - different effects on exposure and bokeh

So this is one of those topics that I keep hearing about but no details on why.

It started with Jim noticing a problem on E-First Shutter with Sony bodies and non-native lenses. Problem seems to disappear with native lenses.

https://blog.kasson.com/the-last-word/a7rii-efcs-max-shutter-speed-for-native-lenses/

Then Manny of youtube fame puts out a video about Fujifilm and full electronic shutter at speeds above 1/1000 losing light.

Now dpreview is saying the problem is only in E-First Shutter and not full electronic shutter on a Fujifilm body. See time marker at 1:58

Does anyone know the cause of this and is it only F-E-shutter or Full E-shutter and different for each manufacturer?
