I have EOS M6, M3 and M50 so getting either:

  • M6 mk II
  • RP

is a logical choice for me, R5 and R6 are too expensive/rare at the moment for me, I am also not convinced that I could live with only 20 MP.

So it is basically down to 26 MP with integrated VF FF or 32 MP crop with no VF.

I would really like a real world comparison of these 2.

What are you looking to gain from the upgrade? I have both cameras and like both of them.

Clean ISO 6400 basically.

Will clean ISO 6,400 make a difference to your end product? I've had ISO 3,200 shots on my m4/3 where I've ran it through DxO and then Topaz Labs, touched it up and thought "Ehh...passable". I've then shared it with my friends and family through WhatsApp (where it's compressed to hell and back) and they've thought it looked amazing. It was then printed at A3 for a company photography contest (~700 entrants) and it won first prize.

Well, most people think that photos that have gone through the image quality shredder called snapchat are printable so that doesn't really say anything.

There are actually few things that I think I would gain by going RF:

  • Access to the RF mount
  • Integrated VF over M6mkII
  • Better focus over M50
  • Bigger sensor
  • Better low light performance

Try not to let the DPReview pixel reviews drive you and think about what you truly need.
