I have EOS M6, M3 and M50 so getting either:

  • M6 mk II
  • RP

is a logical choice for me, R5 and R6 are too expensive/rare at the moment for me, I am also not convinced that I could live with only 20 MP.

So it is basically down to 26 MP with integrated VF FF or 32 MP crop with no VF.

I would really like a real world comparison of these 2.

What are you looking to gain from the upgrade? I have both cameras and like both of them.

How does the M6 mk ii perform noise-wise at higher ISOs? I'm an M5 user, and I'm generally very happy with it. But I find it to be pretty noisy at higher ISOs. I guess a FF sensor would be much better. But maybe the new M6 is a big step up too?

For - the M6 II is not brilliant at high ISO - DPP looks cleaner than lightroom but at cost of fine detail.  I'm not saying bad because it is not - but the 5D IV on a pixel level is miles ahead - provided both can frame the same.

M6 II though is a very good low ISO camera and fine for smaller outputs at medium settings
