I have EOS M6, M3 and M50 so getting either:

  • M6 mk II
  • RP

is a logical choice for me, R5 and R6 are too expensive/rare at the moment for me, I am also not convinced that I could live with only 20 MP.

So it is basically down to 26 MP with integrated VF FF or 32 MP crop with no VF.

I would really like a real world comparison of these 2.

The RP is about the RF glass.

The M doesn't have the RF 24-105 F4 L IS with nano focus and control ring that I can set to EC. Get this lens if you get the RP

I'm also getting the new RF 85 F2 IS

xmas time deals should be really good. Last xmas I paid $899 for my RF 24-105 F4L and $850 for my RP.

if you want to grow into FF in the long run, the RP + RF 24-105 F4 L is a great place to start

bodies will come and go in the long run but these RF lenses are forever glass. Glass first!

Going to the store to buy food and needed supplies is showing me the dollar is losing value so I am not expecting prices to go down very much this year if at all.

times are really tuff

the only item I've bought is the $599 RF 85 F2 IS which is expected to arrive in Nov.

best to save up for sunnier days
