Can't decide Canon EOS R or Sony a7R III

Hello, help please. I am about to buy a new camera.

I've narrowed my choice down to a Canon EOS R or Sony a7R III.

(I would love the new EOS R5 but not in price range at the moment).

Mostly landscape, nature and macro. Some urban street etc.

I grew up on the Canon AE-1 Program so am a bit (a lot) biased towards Canon.

I like the look and feel and colour of the EOS R photos I've seen. But I'm worried about the lack of IBIS. I'm also not sure if some shots I've seen with the Sony seem a bit sharper - which is no doubt the 42MP vs 30MP.

Is the a7R III sharper than the EOS R? How important is IBIS and will I regret not having it?

I also have delusions of being able to sell my photos if they're good enough (don't we all) - is either one of these cameras better in that sense?

Which one should I buy?!!

Canon EOS R5 Sony a7R III
