RF 15-35 f2.8L for astro - any problems with focusing?

Now that I've finally got my R5 after a two-month wait, I'm thinking of replacing the EF 16-35 f4L with RF 15-35 f2.8.

The image quality must improve no doubt, but my question is, has anybody tried to use it in astro-scapes (e.g. Milky Way shots)? How do you find electronic focus ring working when focusing on infinity?

With 5DIV and 16-35, sometimes autofocus in LiveView on a single star would work for me, but sometimes I'd have to use the manual focus. Any issues with the RF 15-35 in that regard?

Thanks!
