Perhaps not in your case. I use the vented design hood which makes it a tight fit IIRC.

Best case is no case when possible and just an extra battery and microfiber cloth in a pocket.

But sometimes you want to be able to stow it somewhere. For example last week I was out walking around town in the hot Florida mid-day sun. If I hadn't had my bag to put it into when not actively shooting It would have been exposed to some serious perspiration. I know its WR but I don't know about SR.

This bag is perfect for those situations, Lowepro SH100-II.

Can be used on the included shoulder strap and it also has a belt loop. I usually put a TT two battery pouch in one side pocket and a CPL in the other. Cleaning cloth inside and the lid has a place to store a couple SD cards.
