Dynamic Range Test

Greetings! As I was checking out a comprehensive set of raw images for the Fujifilm 50R (Dynamic Range Test, underexposed ISO 100) in Capture One, I stumbled upon an exposure mismatch, when they are compared to, let's say, Sony A7R4 and Nikon D850. The full frame cameras were shot at f/5.6 aperture and 50R was shot at f/8.0 aperture (arguably to match potential depth of field and diffraction effects) with all image pairs having the same exposure time and this exposure mismatch goes all the way to the base ISO images, that do not require exposure compensation on FF cameras yet do require +1 stop compensation on 50R. The same phenomenon was seen in the Adobe ACR.

Would you please correct me, if I'm wrong in my observation?

Thank you,

Mikhail

ANSWER:
