Photographing my first wedding.. solo. Gear questions!
1

Hey guys! I’ll be shooting a simple wedding all by myself this coming weekend. I have a Z6, and my Z Mount 50mm 1.8 S, and I know I believe renting a 70-200mm and an extra Z6 is my safest bet due being the only photographer on the job, but for my wide angle and medium telephoto, I was considering one of two final kits:

1: a rented FTZ adaptor with a rented F Mount 24mm 1.4G, and my 50mm 1.8G, with the 70-200mm Z lens glue to the second Z6

2: a Z Mount 24-70 2.8 and the 70-200mm Z Lens on two Z6s

I feel the safest bet is going all zoom, but I like the extra light gathering of 1.8/1.4, and the depth of field, but being a solo shooter would it be safer to sacrifice that for a zoom to cover all angles at the right time? Or do I even need mid range zoom as much as a new wedding photographer may think they do?

Thanks!

Nikon Z6
