Why 200 as base ISO and not 100?
2

Hi,

I don't know exactly why Fuji uses 200 at most of his cameras as the base ISO and not 100 like other manufactures do. I know that fuji measures iso by a different "scale" than Canon/Nikon/Sony but I don't understand why would that mean that ISO cannot go down to ISO 100 so we can take pictures in studio or with tripod that look less noisy and cleaner.

Does anyone know if there are plans to set 100 as the base on the future X-Trans V sensors?

Thanks!
