The price difference between the 2.8 and the 4 is not so much for who can pay it

But compare the price of the existing F mount 70-200mm f/4 to the Z mount 70-200mm f/2.8, that's significant...

The Z 70-200 f/2.8 is 200 euro more than the AF-S on 10/1 (now till 9/30 all f-mount lenses10% off). What I have seen with all the Z lenses the Z 70-200 f/4 will also cost between 150 and 250 more than the F mount. What you ask: the F mount 70-200 /4 is 1699 euro and the Z 70-200 is 2799 euro.

Street price here for the f/4 is 1000 Euros, the Z f/2.8 is 2850 Euros and the f/2.8E FL ED VR is 1400 Euros..

so, nearly triple the f/4 or double the f/2.8 mount..

Sure would like to know where can I buy 70-700/2.8E FL for 1.400€ ... have a link?
