Nx1 sensor can deliver: 4K 120fps, and 1080p, 240 fps...

you mean, a spare NX1 to do the hack?

can you deliver 12-15fps at 3:2 (6480x4320) 28M?

I think it's more viable than trying to mod the NX Mini, which I've been focusing on. Its fastest burst rate yields 2.7K 30p for 1 second. The sensor is capable of continuous 5.4K 25p or 4K 60p, but I have no idea if the Mini's hardware could handle that. So far I only know how to run adjustment scripts on it, which are rather limited and a far cry from being able to execute arbitrary code.

I don't have an NX1 to try modifying. The NX500 has a lower buffer capacity/continuous shooting rate. Still, I should be able to determine whether or not it's feasible to shoot continuously without exhausting the buffer. It would be ideal if someone had a spare camera to test things on, because modding can lead to a soft[ware] brick.

I once read that the Nx1 sensor could deliver 4K 120fps (or was it 240?!?), like the new A7 sIII, and 1080p, 240 fps... I'm sure that if Samsung was still in the business, that's what a SAmsung Nx2 might have been... A lot of this camera limitation, are due to software, not to hardware...

As for the Nx500. With less crop in 4K, and a way of recording external audio somehow trough the USB port, like the Gopro, and that would be my perfect camera, because it has a selfie LCD...

Thanks
