What is "auto".

The "auto" mode of IBIS "detects panning directions automatically" when you are panning the camera and will NOT add stabilization that contradicts the panning motion.

At least, that is the theory of Auto mode.

I will attest that it works great.

Panning with the S1H and 24-105 f/4

Thanks for sharing your experience, and good to hear it works well.

I need to play around with it because there are times when using my S1 on my gimbal (Zhiyun Weebill S) and it sometimes seems like the stabilization is fighting me.

BTW: Nice shot. Reminds me of my days back in the early 90's when I used to shoot motorcycle races for a couple of local newspapers / magazines.
