Zeiss Distagon 35mm f/1.4 T* zf.2 on a Z6

The Zeiss Distagon 35mm f/1.4 T* zf.2 has 11elements in 9 groups but was designed about 10 years ago.  The Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.8 S lens was first available in August of 2018 and was designed for use on the Nikon Z6 which is the camera I am using.  The Nikkor also has 11 elements in 9 groups.  The price of the Nikkor Z 35mm is $847 which goes up to $917 after the Texas tax.  I can get a lightly used Zeiss Distagon 35mm for $600 or $700 (Price new when available was $1850).

Does anyone have any experience with the Zeiss Distagon 35mm either on a Z camera or a DSLR camera?  I should probably go with the Nikkor Z lens, but the Zeiss distagon looks like a good deal.  I will be using for landscape for pictures and video.
