Re: One of the Galaxies?

You could install the free app, Stellarium, adjust for the time and date, and find out what it was on your own, including a few paragraphs of description. Click on objects of interest, or use finder icon.  Good for cloudy nights when nothing else to do.  Also good for planning a future viewing session. Many app descriptions and screenshots via Google.

For finding your way around the sky in real time, consider the free apps SkyView Lite and Sky Guide. Hold your device up to the sky as if you were looking through it and read the names of the objects in your line-of-sight, tap on them for a description. Useful for two-star alignment of a GoTo mount.

To determine your field of view and to frame your targets, take a look at this site https://astronomy.tools/calculators/field_of_view/

Stellarium screenshot. White callouts my addition.
