R5 vs R6 Thread...

So I've been leaning toward the R6 since it's release due to the following:

Lighter

Cheaper

Better ISO handling (by a bit)

PASM Dial (I'm old fashioned)

Better 4K (faster readout; have no interest in 8K)

Has dual UHS-II which I have two Sony Tough cards already in fact. I have no interest in buying another card as I'm not a pro. I'm an advanced enthusiast.

Lower resolution means easier post processing, which I'm a prolific shooter and have a powerful MacBook Pro (8-core i9, 32GB, Vega 20), but, I use SLOW DPP4 for it's colors and corrections, and I despise subscriptions that cut corners on Canon products.

.

But, naturally the R5 has more resolution, which in turn means more tonal range, resolution+cropping. Even though this is a single bullet point, it's a strong one.

.

I don't crop often, but, I do shoot in low light frequently, I do like my landscapes when I do shoot them (resolution) and I do use the EOS WebCam frequently with Zoom which really makes a difference so faster readout and ISO (R6 is superior for) isn't chump change as resolution is meaningless to Zoom.

Normally I'm someone to give others advice, but, I'm also one to take advice from those wiser...

Am I missing anything here? I'm gathering the R6 is a better fit for me, but, there's no denying the resolution is there on the R5.

Is there any pitfalls of the R5/R6 or use cases/lens combos I'm not using (but may be in the future) that I'm overlooking where I should reconsider the R5?

No rush, I'm waiting till I relocate out of state as that changes taxes for me both on the purchase, and, more importantly on my other much larger financial choices which my CPA has advised me on so I won't be pushing any buttons till next month.

.

Thoughts?

Even the the R6 is cheaper, I have the funds for the R5. The trouble is, I'm not sure it's the best fit irregardless of price ironically.
