Active D-lighting, Does anybody know what it does "technically"
2

Hello, recently i discovered that i cannot simulate exactly what Active D-lighting does, i know it brings the shadows, and retain the high lights, but it seem i fail to do with with any other raw editor to match a Active D-lighting setting.

My personal opinion, i think is a curve applied to a certain parts of the luma and the croma, because on any other software if i can match one side of the histogram i fail to match the other, so i think somehow is a curve plus some parametric value....

Thanks
