How to test the effectiveness of lens fungus cleaning?

I have an AF-S  Nikkor 24-70mm 1:2.8G ED lens that has fungus on an inside lens.

(This seems to be a problem with these lenses because of the zoom feature as I know of other owners who have the same issue)

It is the only one of my 7 Nikkor lenses that has this issue and they have all been stored in the same way.)

I would like to be able to measure how effective the cleaning was after the fungus has been removed.

Does anyone have a suggestion for measuring this?

Apart from the usual focus test charts and a light meter I dont have any specific lens test equipment.

Thanks
