Have you tried adding one of the grips?

Yes.... battery grip, base plate, the fake GP-X1EM or whatever it was. They help with grip length but not grip shape.

Sony now offers two form factors for FF to choose from. The C series and the non-C . The C series will likely stick with the slimmer body profile, while the non-C series will continue to cater to those who want a deeper grip profile. I think it's smart for Sony to offer these two body form factors in their FF line. Other companies really aren't.

Sony has had 2 form factors for awhile.

this is the fork in APSC. It’s done. The A7c is replacing it.

The A7c was made to eventually sell for $999. Cheap EVF. Cheap parts. Smaller size.

That would be great if they eventually offered the A7C for only $999. But we're still a long way from the A7C being priced that low. In the meantime, APS-C will still be around-- probably for quite some time. Furthermore, $999 is still far pricier than what the A6000, A6100, A6400 sell for. So even at $999, the A7C is NOT a replacement for those cameras, and therefore not a replacement for APS-C.  Sony can sell the A6000 all day long for $548 and still turn a profit. They can't do that with the A7C at that price. Let's not forget that there are economic realities associated with selling cameras. People still want to buy cameras for well under $1000. FF can't do that very well--and still return a decent profit (unless the camera has been around for years, like the A7).
