Large lens + adapter + EOS RP "strength"

Hi,

I recently picked up a Sigma Contemporary 100-400 EF lens. I know it's a big lens, and it really shows.

I'm more worried about the durability of the adapter / camera mount itself. It's quite heavy. Of course while shooting, the lens will be hand held and while not shooting it will be facing down (not angled down, but rather, down, with the Peak Design bottom anchor + a top anchor.

Honestly, this is my first lens that weighs over 500g (with the exception of the RF 24-105 f/4 lens, which is also "new" to me), let alone over a kilo. Is there any danger to my EOS RP mount? or the adapter?
