Moraine Lake, Banff National Park

Probably one the most photographed/visited locations in the Canadian Rockies.

We’ve always wanted to check this place out in the summer, but were off-put on how busy this area gets with tourists and we're usually vacationing abroad - Seeing as no international travelers are allowed in Canada right now, we took advantage and made the drive out.

We came here before sunset mainly to scout a good location to catch the sunrise the following morning - It was our first time here so we wanted to familiarize ourselves with the area as it would still be dark when we return less than 7 hours later (about 4AM).

Initially it didn’t look like anything too exciting was going on, but there was some interesting cloud coverage so I just threw on an ND filter, opened the shutter, and got lucky with some light. I was a lot happier with these spontaneous sunset photos than the sunrise one I captured the following morning.

All feedback/CC will be greatly appreciated.
