5DIV optimal ISO setting

For low light landscapes. I have been taking photographs of the northern lights at ISO 800 with my 5DIV and I've tried 1600, 3200 and find that to my eyes, ISO 800 looks cleaner, less noise, colors look better.

I can't remember if the 5DIV is ISO In-variant, and if it is, I would like to know where that sweet spot is for ISO.

Thanks in advance
