Quick test for using p1000 for deep sky astrophotography Messier 27 dumbbell nebula

Hello, here is my quick test for using p1000 for deep sky astrophotography. It is possible, but definitely not recommended for it. 60 second exposure limit is big issue. For the best quality you would want to shoot +3min exposures. These pictures aren't high quality pro shots, just a quick test.

9 x 50 seconds shots stacked with deepskystacker.

Single exposure with 50 second ISO100 f6.3 2000mm settings. I added a lot of exposure in post-processing, nothing else has been done for this photo.

Edit: I don't know why this webpage says that this ^ is 30 second exposure. My computer says its 50 second exposure and I used cheap Chinese programmable remote control which I programmed to use 60 second exposure lol.

Nikon Coolpix P1000
