Don't forget about the EF 85mm f1.8, which is really nice, cheap and very light on the adapter. I know it's not f1.4, but it's in between f1.4 and f2. Focus is really excellent with the Rp.  You can still melt a background in a standing portrait with f1.8 on FF.

Also, you may be able to find an EF 85mm f1.2L II for less than an 85mm f1.4L on the used market if you are chasing speed. Don't know why, but it's easier to find bargain f1.2 vs f1.4 IS. It's a tiny bit heavier, but also a bit shorter. Focus isn't as fast, but it's got that magic for portraits.

Samyang has some issues with the newer R6/R5 bodies that a firmware update is supposed to fix, but it's barely usable now on those cameras. SO if you get the Samyang and update your camera body, you might need to find a dock to update the firmware.

Samyang has a lot going for it in terms of price, size and being native mount

Weighs about half what the Canon f1.4/f1.2 do including the adapter.
