I side with the X-Pro2. It’s an amazing camera - similar to your XT2 of course in what it can do, but (IMO) a much better form factor that’s more fun to use.

X100V is probably even more fun since it’s smaller and lighter too, but I can’t get past the fixed lens. As others have said, it won’t be a proper backup to your XT2 and will limit your ability to use and enjoy the lenses you already have.

Personally I would save a little extra and get the 35 1.4 though. That’s the one Fujinon I’ll never be without, and fixed on the front of an X-Pro2 it beats any X100 hands down.

I like pictures with a bit of fairy dust. I dont mind if its not to megasharp as long as it looks good printed. I also own thd 23mm f2 and love street and portrait photography. But I could also get the X100f sell my 23mmf2 and get the 35mm 1.4 for my XT2.

But the look of Xpro2 with the 35mm1.4 is stellar. And by the looks of all the photos Ive seen with this setup it is the only camera 99% of us street/travel & portrait photographers would ever need in terms of image quality and funfactor.  Could be me go to one lens one camera on my photographic weekend trips.
